Аннотация
Каталаза – важный антиоксидантный фермент, который разрушает пероксид водорода, образующийся в результате нормального метаболизма клетки, до воды и кислорода, предупреждая перекисное окисление липидов мембран и повреждение клетки. В настоящем обзоре анализируется и обобщается информация об истории открытия, строении, биогенезе, полиморфизме и биологических функциях каталазы клеток.
