Социально-экономические итоги президентства Б. Обамы

Аннотация

Рассматриваются итоги социально-экономического развития США в 2009–2016 гг. Анализируется наследие Б. Обамы с точки зрения благосостояния простых американцев. Констатируются позитивные изменения на рынке частного домовладения, временные успехи в образовательной политике, достижения и издержки реформы медицинского страхования. Указывается, что определяющей тенденцией социально-экономического развития является рост социальной дифференциации. На основании анализа фактического материала и данных статистики сделан вывод о том, что результаты политики демократической администрации не соответствовали высоким ожиданиям электората, потеря части которого привела к поражению демократов на выборах 2016 г.
