The article is devoted to the analysis of auto- and heterostereotypes of Moldavans in Belarus through the prism of inter-ethnic interaction and integration into the Belarusian sociocultural space. The study of this problem was carried out by the author within the framework of cross-cultural research. It is based on the results of an ethnosociological survey conducted by the author in 2020–2023 among Moldavans in Belarus. During the study, the in-depth interview method was used. The advantage of this method is noted, thanks to which it became possible to show the nuances of Moldavans’ perception of foreign ethnic norms, traditions and behaviour patterns, and to assess the degree of their integration into the Belarusian sociocultural space. The field material collected during the survey is introduced into scientific circulation for the first time.
