The reflection of ethnocultural identity and results of intercultural interaction among Moldovans in Belarus through national cuisine is explored. This ethical community has until now remained completely unstudied in Belarusian ethnology. The article is based on author’s materials collected in 2020–2023, which is introduced into scientific circulation for the first time. More than 50 Moldovan informants were interviewed through in-depth interviews. As a result of the study, differences in the degree of preservation of national cuisine in the everyday life of Moldovans who moved to Belarus during the Soviet and post-Soviet periods were revealed. It is concluded that national cuisine is the most stable and significant element of folk culture among representatives of the Moldovan diaspora. It is noted that the influence of Belarusian national cuisine is most evident among Moldovans of the first wave, who have lived in Belarus for more than 30–40 years. Interethnic differences in the nutritional system of Moldovans and Belarusians are identified, which are manifested in the priority use of certain products (flour, cereals, potatoes, etc.).
