Main trends in the development of the modern information space

The purpose of this article is to analyze the extent to which the media influence the worldview and the beliefs of the audience. The features of the operation of such media subsystems as radio, television, print, and the Internet are investigated. Different strategies and concepts are considered that allow to study in more detail the attitude of the audience to the mass media. It is emphasized that the complexity and multi-structure of the media audience determines the existence of a multitude of technologies for the generation and transmission of information.The information is intended to influence the audience, and not just to inform it. The results of sociological surveys show that television remains the leading information source among the Belarusian population. The greatest trust among the population of the Republic of Belarus is belong to national television.
