The article is devoted to the problem of substantiating the essence, content and significance of interdisciplinary tasks and situations for analysis, which are an effective means of forming of multiprofessional competencies for future specialists for sustainable development of a country. The procedure for creating such tasks and cases is also considered. The content of tasks and situations is conditioned by the need to address the global problems of mankind, national and cross-sectoral problems that reflect the goals of sustainable development in the social, economic and environmental spheres. Based on the analysis of the results of international research and the work of domestic scientists, the necessity of applying an interdisciplinary approach to the design of educational content in the higher national school is substantiated. The author's experience in designing interdisciplinary tasks and situations for analysis and their use in the university's teaching process is given in the paper. As shown by the interim results of the study, the inclusion of such tasks in the academic process of universities will contribute to the formation of a holistic system of multiprofessional competencies for students with a view to sustainable development.
