Pedagogy of physical education of students

The article describes the results of a theoretical analysis of the social role, structure, content and methodology of monitoring the effectiveness of physical education in the context of modern trends in the development of education in the field of physical culture and sports. The data of the monitoring studies conducted in the institutions of higher education of the Republic of Belarus are presented as an information basis for the identified areas of improvement of the educational process.
