Traditional analytical genres under conditions of media transformation

The transformations taking place in the Belarusian media sphere are significantly changing the established genre canons. The conditions created at the present time put before researchers the question of the formation of an actual system of journalism genres. In the article are held the analysis of the main typological concepts of analytical genres. The relevance of the topic is due to the need to rethink the current «canonical» structure of analytical genres of journalism in connection with the changes taking place in the media environment. The novelty of the topic lies in the development of modern approaches to the classification of analytical genres. The purpose of the study is to determine the patterns of the use of analytical genres in media texts of the mass media in Belarus at the current stage of development. A group classification based on the principle of researching ongoing processes, events, phenomena is proposed.
