Representation of the media image of Belarus in the Chinese media in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic

This article exposes the concept of «media image», discusses the peculiarities of the media image of Belarus in the Chinese information field. The creation of media image of the country in Chinese media space is examined on the example of the Russian language version of the «People’s Daily» newspaper and «Guancha» news website. In the article a content analysis with the elements of discourse analysis of the texts is conducted, and from the structure of the text and keywords the most common comments about Belarus are identified.
