Changes in modern Belarusian journalism, associated with the transformation of the sociopolitical situation, the tendency to strengthen the author’s principle in journalistic work, the personification of journalistic activity, the increasing impact of information technologies and artificial intelligence on media production are identified. The increasing role of the media personality (politician) and the journalistу who in the professional plan today must acquire the status of a communicative leader who is in a dialogical process during the exchange of information is emphasised. The new stage of development of information and communication technologies which is characterised by the redistribution of roles in the process of media communication and the establishment of interaction between government structures and the media is analysed. The deconstruction of the principle of alternating standard and expression in the production of journalistic text, a change in the manner of presenting the author’s thought, and the enrichment of the media text with various visual means, organized into a single personalised system of text creation behind which the specific personality of the journalist is recognised are noted.
