Abstract

The authors of the article focused on the modern features of the literary and critical presentation of the writer’s work, on the formation and evolution of the writer’s nominal discourse. The purpose of the analysis of literary and critical sources presenting key interpretations of creativity (ethical-philosophical, ethnosocial, civilisational, contextual, genre-compositional, biographical) is to identify the logic of the formation of discourse, a system of factors determining its semantic structure, genre composition. From the point of view of the authors of the article, the study of the nominal literary and critical discourse of an outstanding novelist makes it possible to talk about the direction of the evolution of literary criticism in general and the patterns of the literary process, which in recent decades has been «controlled» not so much by political or aesthetic, axiological, as by commercial, PR context, which affects both the semantic structure and the speech forms of literary criticism. The prospects of the study are related to the possibility of using the findings in the process of describing and identifying the institutional characteristics of the modern trajectory of promoting the name of a writer who has already received the status of a classic.
