Abstract

This article examines scientific communication in the modern world. It presents a typologies of scientific communication based on spatiotemporal characteristics, the communication medium, the characteristics of the process, and a comprehensive analysis. Key theoretical models (deficit, contextual, democratic, and local knowledge models) are analysed. It is demonstrated that each typology and model has specific advantages and limitations. It is noted that in practice, no approach is absolutely superior to another, and the key factor in choosing an approach is its relevance to the specific communication context and the specifics of the issue under discussion. The conceptual boundaries of scientific communication and the scope of its models are clarified, creating a more robust theoretical foundation for further research.
