Procedure for the formation and composition of commissions on minors affairs in the Republic of Belarus: actual status and proposals for improvement

Abstract

The objective of this work is the analysis of the commission and making developing proposals. According to the results of the research the necessity of strengthening staff of the commissions by increasing the number of members working on a permanent basis to 4–5 specialists; the inclusion of a person with a law degree in the commissions; appointment as a secretary a person who has a degree in education, psychology or education in social work or communications. It is also recommended to increase a participation of members who represent youth organizations, sports and culture organizations and active residents who are the examples among young people.
