Abstract

Development of corporate relations and improvement of legislation on legal entities take place in Belarus against the background of absence of special terminology of corporate law in the current national legislation. The authors analyse legislation on legal entities of corporate type, provide critical assessment of innovations and planned amendments of such legislation from the standpoint of doctrine and practice, demonstrate the national specificity of corporate relations’ regulation through a comparative analysis. The authors positively evaluate the initiatives on renovation of Belarusian corporate law in terms of conflict of laws and filling the gaps in law on economic companies. However, the authors criticise some proposals on systematisation of legal entities and indecisiveness in terms of modernisation of legal regulation of joint stock companies.
