Types and degrees of manifestation of the characters’ anthropomorphicity
Keywords:
anthropomorphism, types of anthropomorphism of characters, degrees of anthropomorphism of characters, stages of anthropomorphism of characters, types of anthropomorphization of charactersAbstract
The article is devoted to the differentiation of the characters – «non-humans» in terms of the degree and type of anthropomorphism. From the point of view of the presence or absence of dynamics within the artistic text, initial and dynamic (acquired) types of anthropomorphism were identified. Within the acquired anthropomorphism, two stages of the characters’ anthropomorphism are singled out: primary and secondary. For the analysis of acquired secondary anthropomorphism, two types of anthropomorphization were identified – external and internal (related to the concept of personality). Concerning the characters, which are characterized by initial or acquired primary anthropomorphism, three degrees of character anthropomorphism were identified: partial, medium (intermediate), full.
