Abstract

The article analyzes the main theses of M. Buber’s ontological dialogue concept with the aim of discovering the potential for expansion and development of the modern environmental ethics. The current state of biosphere requires a radical reorganization of human-nature communication in general. A systemic transformation of the activities of mankind requires reevaluation and reorganization of the basic value and general cultural settings. The philosophy of M. Buber's dialogue provides a conceptual basis for the modernization of environmental ethics and development of axiological positions for the dialogical model of human-nature communication.
