Abstract

The article discusses the records of miracles (renewal and myrrh-streaming icons, appearences of the Virgin) from the fund of folklore materials of the educational and scientific laboratory of Belarusian folklore of Belarusian State University (Minsk) and Folklore and ethnographic archive of the student research laboratory of Brest State A. S. Pushkin University (Brest), which for the first time are introduced into scientific circulation and allow to Supplement the General mosaic of territorial stratification and denser concentration of the considered motives in certain regions of modern Belarus and the Baltic States. As a result of the study of the existence of the narratives chosen by us, their cyclism was established. Some of the stories allow you to more clearly delineate the boundaries of a motif that has previously been difficult due to the lack of data for some regions. The areas of the stories about the renewal of icons are quite closely correlated with the mapped areas of the stories about the appearences of the Virgin.
