Abstract

The article examines the problems of corporeality in the context of the concept of nomadism, which is most clearly represented in postmodernism, posthumanism and other discourses of the second half of the 20^th – first third of the 21^st century. The social, general cultural situation of that time created the personality of a new, different configuration, which was called the nomad. The nomadic subject has features that are distinctive from modernity and traditional culture, which are also represented in bodily forms and practices. On the one hand, the latter illustrate the existence of alternatives (opposition) to norms that are customary for the official culture. On the other hand, they themselves become part of mass culture, fashion. Therefore, the nomad seeks to constantly elude the established templates and canons. The corporality of the nomadic subject is considered in the context of the positions of J. Deleuze, F. Guattari, M. Foucault, R. Braidotti and other scientists, as well as in the context of understanding corporeality as a cultural-political and epistemological phenomenon.
