Abstract

The article is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Russian revolutions of 1917. It analyses social and historic conditions of their eruption, the world impact. Also the reasons for their success and failure are paid attention to. The social transforming force of these revolutions is demonstrated. The author comes to the conclusion that their social transforming force is not yet exhausted and can unexpectedly influence the world development of the XXI century.
