Civil society and society of citizens: theoretical and methodological aspect

The problematic characteristics of the fundamental concepts of «civil society» and «society of citizens», the origins and foundations of their formation from the standpoint of modern views on socio-political processes are considered. Such categories as socio-economic stability, socio-political situation are being explored. An attempt is made to describe social processes in their relationship with economic, spiritual, political and other manifestations of mass consciousness. The liberal and dialectical models of the state system are described.
