Аннотация

Выявляются различные подходы к определению понятия «социальная теория». Прослеживается его развитие в рамках социально-гуманитарных наук и постепенная трансформация в одну из ключевых категорий современного социально-философского познания. Обозначены региональные различия в трактовках данной категории, а также причины зарождения универсальной категории социальной теории на рубеже XX–XXI вв.
