Sociological education and new challenges of time: lessons of history and modernity
Abstract
It discusses a wide range of problems related to the state of sociological education, new challenges and prospects for the development of modern society. The tendencies of global instability leading the world to geopolitical, economic, ecological and anthropological crisis are studied. It is noted that in such conditions, interactions are formed, which fix new social changes directly related to the state of the education system, especially its social and humanitarian block. It is established that the catalysts of change on the way to the future are values reflecting the transformation of life meanings, which leads to the renewal of the content and form of university education. It is pointed out that new risks and challenges motivate the resetting of values, which are tested in the depths of education and only then become ideals for imitation and reproduction.
