The article presents an original approach to assessing family resilience through an integrated indicator that takes into account the reproductive potential of the family, economic autonomy, stability of marital relations, and access to social infrastructure. A comparative analysis of the family resilience coefficient in Belarus is carried out for 2019 and 2024 across five groups of indicators (depopulation and degradation of family structure, economic resilience of families, population health and mortality, devaluation of family values, and institutional resilience). The results of the study reveal multidirectional dynamics: against the backdrop of a decline in the total fertility rate (from 1,388 to 1,081) and a decrease in the marriage rate (from 6,7 to 5,1 ‰), there is an increase in the share of large families (from 9,2 to 12,5 %), an improvement in housing provision (from 27,8 to 30,4 m2 per person), and an expansion of enrolment in preschool institutions (from 84,5 to 88,1 %). The integrated family resilience coefficient shows a moderate decrease in resilience, which calls for adaptive adjustments to family policy, taking into account regional specificities and contemporary demographic challenges.
