Abstract

The development of environmental ethics, environmental education and upbringing in the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation is based on bilateral interaction: in Russia, the emphasis is made on the development of theoretical issues, and Belarus is a leader in organizing the study and applied use of this problem. The paper outlines the main factors and problems of the development of environmental ethics and eco-ethical education, the practical significance of the results for improving the training of specialists in the field of environmental protection and the formation of an environmental worldview. For the first time, a harmonious, logically and substantively evidenced conceptual model of environmental ethics in the context of a sustainable development strategy is presented. Positive results achieved during the Belarusian-Russian cooperation are noted, new tasks for further research are set.
