Information and communication services as an element of the high-tech sector of Belarus: current state in the context of global trends

Abstract

This article examines the current state of the information and communication services sector in Belarus in the context of global trends. Statistical indicators and the country’s position in international rankings of the digital economy and artificial intelligence are analysed. Using comparative and structural analysis, the strengths and weaknesses of the national digital transformation model are identified, as well as barriers limiting innovative dynamics.
