Problems of the Belarusian economic science: low citation and weak integration of research into the global scientific space
Abstract
The article presents a view on the current state and problems of the Belarusian economic science. Empirical data reflecting the citation of research by Belarusian economists, primarily employees of the Belarusian State University, are presented. Proposals are formulated for the integration of domestic economics into the space of world scientific knowledge, in particular, to increase the level of results and, accordingly, the citation of the works of Belarusian economists.
