Conceptualisation of the term «publication model» in modern journalism
Abstract
The article substantiates the concept of «model», analyses the approaches to this concept in modern journalism. An analytical review of the literature is presented, which describes the existing options for modelling the mass media. The relevance of the topic is determined by the need to update the concept of «content model» as a standard for the media. Special attention is paid to the differences between the terms «concept» and «content model». Despite the terminological differences, there is a fundamental similarity in the methodology of studying and interpretation of this term. The author comes to the conclusion that it is necessary to observe the hierarchy in the system of definitions: the content model reflects the general idea of the publication, but does not form it.
