Abstract

The article examines the features of the editorial assessment of a journalistic text as a semantic whole, including verbal and iconic components. The achievements of domestic and foreign scientists in the field of research into non-verbal support of media communications have been studied. Current approaches to the analysis of iconic media content are presented from the point of view of the theory and practice of editing media texts. Problematic issues of visualisation of modern media texts are identified. Certain markers that help identify deepfake content.
