Abstract

In the article the author examines the specific features of assisted reproductive technologies through semantic analysis. Particular attention is paid to the study of worldwide approaches to the legal regulation of methods of reproductive medicine. Based on the analysis of state policy in the field of family and health protection it is concluded that the current «medicalized» Belarusian approach to the legal regulation of assisted reproductive technologies should be maintained. Considering the assessment of the Belarusian market of medical services assessment, the necessity of expanding the list of used types of assisted reproductive technologies in the Law of the Republic of Belarus on assisted reproductive technologies is substantiated.
