Some problems of implementation of international norms in national civil procedural law
Abstract
The reasons for the formation of special procedural rules regulating the specifics of the consideration and resolution of certain categories of cross-border civil cases are investigated on the example of the Convention on the international procedure for the recovery of alimony and other forms of family maintenance (concluded in the Hague on 23 November 2007). It is concluded that for international treaties belonging to the category of self-executing, it is necessary and sufficient for effective law enforcement activity to adopt resolutions of the Plenum of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Belarus explaining the specifics of consideration and resolution of the relevant categories of cases.
