Belarusian and Chinese cooperation experience in education

Abstract

The state policy of the Republic of Belarus in the field of training modern specialists promotes cooperation between Belarusian universities and their foreign partners in order to obtain the necessary synergistic educational effect. The Republic of Belarus has been developing successful mutually beneficial cooperation with the leader of the Asia-Pacific region − the People’s Republic of China for quite a long time. One of the results of such cooperation is the Join Institute of Dalian Polytechnic University and Belarusian State University. The article considers the activities of a joint educational structure, discusses the problems and issues of the educational process, approaches to solve the tasks and overcome the challenges faced by the managers and faculty staff of both sides. The opportunities that students have during their studies and teachers during their work at the joint institute are presented.
