Музыка в афроамериканской литературе: опыт интермедиального анализа романов З. Н. Херстон

Аннотация

Устанавливается специфика интермедиальных связей в романном творчестве З. Н. Херстон. Выделяются предпосылки, определившие вектор развития афроамериканской культуры в период Гарлемского ренессанса. Обосновывается вкрапление музыкальных элементов в афроамериканскую литературу первой половины XX в. Особое внимание уделяется анализу авторской манеры вовлечения музыкального нарратива в текст, изучению взаимодействия экстра- и интракомпозиционных вариантов интермедиальности в нем. Выявляются отличительные черты интермедиального подхода З. Н. Херстон к использованию музыкальных структур в прозе. Корреляция музыкального и словесного начал показывается с учетом особенностей авторского стиля и модернистских тенденций аутентичной культуры, что позволяет раскрыть специфику творчества З. Н. Херстон в частности и афроамериканских прозаиков периода Гарлемского ренессанса в целом.
