Мудрость жизни в афоризмах мыслителей древности и Нового времени

Аннотация

Рассматриваются представления о мудрости жизни, которые содержатся в афоризмах мыслителей древности и Нового времени. Показано, что к основным из этих представлений относятся сохранение душевного спокойствия, управление своими желаниями и страстями, а также жизнь согласно следующим принципам: будь счастливым, если хочешь им быть; цени то, что имеешь; измени отношение к жизни, если ею неудовлетворен; цени и люби других людей; воспринимай труд как источник радости и наслаждения; не попадай в зависимость от чувства жадности и стремления к наживе.
