Human capital vs digital technologies: hidden confrontation and risks in modern society
Keywords:
human capital, digital technologies, risks of digitalisation, social competence of students, social labour motivation of employeesAbstract
It is shown that the growth of human capital in the conditions of digital transformation positively affects labour productivity, satisfaction of the population with work and life. The problem of growth of this capital is most relevant for groups of people involved in the labour market, but the process of human capital formation also affects the sphere of education, in particular, students. It is revealed that the development of human capital of students includes ensuring accessibility of higher education, formation of a high level of social competence and growth of the cultural level of young people, while the development of human capital of employees is carried out through the formation of socially significant value-motivational tools. Digital technologies alone do not contribute to these processes; on the contrary, unregulated digital transformation creates risks of a socio-humanitarian nature, leads to increased stressful life and mental illness. The need for a targeted impact on the spheres of education and labour for the growth of human capital was noted.
