Abstract

Hyperreality in the art of postmodernism is interpreted as hypertextual (multilayer) artistic reality, that requires meaningful decoding. The semiotic oversaturation and semantic movability of the artistic language, using of stochastic techniques, replication and serialization, using of folded structures – leads to replacement of the figurative system in the art of postmodernism with simulated one. Hyperreality is diverse and encompasses a wide variety of styles, that leads to the actualization of the epistemological aspect of style. In its own expressive features of artistic trends and trends in the visual arts, architecture and music of postmodernism can be represented as a panorama of various kinds of «realities». The spatio-temporal relationships arising in hyperreality plays a shape-forming role and becomes the basis of the postmodern artistic worldview.
