Идентификация новых религиозных движений в исследовательской программе Р. Старка

Аннотация

Анализируется проблема идентификации новых религиозных движений в исследовательской программе известного американского социолога религии Р. Старка. В общих чертах описывается наследие ученого, его вклад в развитие социологии религии и предпринятые им методологические сдвиги в анализе религиозных организаций с поправкой на диахроническую перспективу. Особое внимание уделяется представлению теоретико-методологических оснований типологии религиозных организаций Р. Старка, а также его концепции «напряжения с обществом». С опорой на результаты исследований автора статьи выявляются проблемные стороны методологии анализа и теоретического обоснования системы отношений религиозных организаций с обществом, предлагаемой Р. Старком. Вносятся конкретные теоретико-методологические предложения по решению вскрытых проблем, в том числе с опорой на исследование социальной идентификации религиозных организаций.
