Abstract

The results of a study of fluctuations in maximum water levels based on data from 67 rivers of Belarus, including large rivers, for 1877–2020 are presented. The influence of natural and anthropogenic factors on the main statistical parameters of the time series of the maximum water levels of the rivers of Belarus has been established. A method for predicting the maximum water levels of the spring flood is proposed, which is considered on a specific example.
