Quantitative and qualitative dynamics of dissertations on pedagogical specialties
Abstract
The article provides a quantitative and qualitative analysis of dissertations carried out and submitted for thesis defense across the entire spectrum of pedagogical specialties over the past 10-year period. It is assumed that the studied indicators characterising the choice of specialisation and subjects of dissertations by researchers are a figure (at least indirect) of the state and directions of development of today’s pedagogical science. The forward-looking tasks of the article are prognostic and stimulate the scientific interest of young scientists who are trying to find the right answer to the question of what pedagogical science should do for the development of modern education.
