Framing method in media studies

The article overviews the historical background of media framing as methodological approach, its difference from agendasetting and priming (including interaction and interdependence of this concepts), models of modern use of the method in media studies. The author approaches to underline the fact that the usage of media framing concept can be used for different purposes and can guarantee unprejudiced qualitative data analysis. The overview of frame formation process and its reader’s perception as long as the process of frame interaction with readers perception can also be found in the article. The author gives examples of different approaches to media framing usage on the materials of modern surveys.
