Prosociality as professional important qualities of the healthcare providers

Abstract

The article describes pro-sociality, that is a combined manifestation of the professionally important qualities of medical workers, including altruism, empathy, empathy, conscientiousness, observance of social norms (reciprocity, responsibility, justice, «cost-reward»). It is shown that nurses differ from doctors in terms of: «compassion» and «personal distress». Differences in the workplace among medical workers are established by such indicators as: disinhibition, introversion, sensitivity, altruism, neuroticism, sociability, aesthetic impressionability, femininity, social responsibility, the norm of justice, compassion, empathy, empathic care, personal distress.
