Trits of the personality of students with different learning styles
Abstract
The article presents the results of theoretical analysis and empirical study of learning styles of students of different specializations. Learning/thinking styles according to the Kolb’s experimental learning model are the subject of the study. The personality features of each of the four styles are defined: figure, thinker, theorist and pragmatism. It has been revealed that future professional activity implies the existence of common professionally important qualities of the individual and, at the same time, their differentiation depending on the specialization of students. The style approach is seen as the foundation of student-centric educational technologies focused on the result and objectification of the personality profile of the future specialist and the specificity of his academic achievements.
