Digital competencies of the students and young professionals
Abstract
The paper examines the digital competencies necessary for students in the educational process and young professionals in the workplace. A model of the key digital competencies has been constructed. The results of two surveys conducted among Belarusian students and among the young employees in Minsk are presented. The purpose of the article is to identify how students and young employees evaluate their digital competencies in mastering digital technologies, and to study youth motivation when mastering technical innovations. The results obtained can be used to develop activities and programs aimed at improvement of the quality of labour and the educational activities.
