The wisdom of the golden age of islam
Abstract
The article discusses the basic worldview and life values of Islam: the first principle is devotion to God and the most significant rules of conduct and morality, taken from the life patterns and sayings of the Prophet Muhammad, which are recorded in the Sunnah. It is shown that these views and values were concretely embodied and developed in the works of the most prominent thinkers of the golden age of Islam as al-Kindi, Rudaki, al-Farabi, Ferdowsi, Avicenna, Omar Khayyam, аl-Ghazali, Averroes and Rumi. The values of humanism and knowledge, the ideas of spiritual perfection of a person and a life-affirming attitude to the world are highlighted in them.
