Ideas of constructivism in classical and non-classical philosophy
Abstract
The article presents the historical and philosophical renovation of constructivist ideas in classical and non-classical philosophy. The article notes that for the first time constructivist ideаs were expressed in Ancient philosophy, and then in the philosophy of the Modern Age. The article substantiates that I. Kant made a special contribution to the development of con- structivist ideas, because in his philosophical system the «hard core» of the constructivist research program was laid, which was formed only in the XX century. The article shows that the constructivist ideas received further development in the philosophy of science in XX century. In particular, these ideas developed in the philosophical concepts of E. Mach, representatives of the Vienna Circle, L. Wittgenstein. The article emphasizes that in the last third of the XX century, constructivist ideas developed not only in the context of philosophy, but also in other disciplines. The article concludes that the constructivist ideas expressed both by representatives of classical philosophy and non-classical philosophy predetermined a contemporary understanding of the nature of cognition and influenced on the formation of the constructivist research program.
