Methodical work at the department of sociology of the Belarusian State University
Abstract
The article presents the main directions of the methodical work at the department of sociology of the Belarusian State University: development and approval of educational program documentation; introduction of distance learning; use of innovative approaches and methods for teaching academic disciplines; participation of the teaching staff in scientific-methodical conferences; cooperation with personnel customers. It is noted that the most important trend of higher education is the strengthening of the practice-oriented training of specialists. The issues of formation of universal and professio- nal competences of students in higher education institutions are actualized.
