Innovative potential of universities of the Republic of Belarus

Abstract

The prospects for increasing the innovative potential of Belarusian universities are being explored. The innovative potential is descibed as a key factor in the development of education, science and economy of the Republic of Belarus. It is noted that globalisation and accelerated technological progress, it is important not only to analyse account current trends in social development, but also to predict its dynamics. Perspective areas of the university’s activities to biuld innovative potential are considered, in particular, investing in digitalisation, development of practical training and cooperation with sectors of the national economy. Taking measures in these directions will contribute to sustainable development of the educational environment and the training of highly qualified specialists in demand in the labour market. Provides data from an expert survey regarding the innovative potential of Belarusian universities. The results obtained can be used to improve the management system in the field of university education in the Republic of Belarus.
