Resources for sportsmenʼ second career building: sociological research experience
Abstract
Based on the results of an author empirical study and theoretical studies of foreign authors, the article analyzes the resources of Belarusian athletes of international level for the transition to a second career. In addition to identifying and compiling the list of such resources, barriers that hinder the implementation of a successful transition to an after-sports life were also considered as well as drivers that could help to overcome them. Based on the results obtained, the article proposes a foreign-inspired format for the provision of services for the qualitative build-up of resources of transition to a second career already available for an athlete for consideration and implementation in the Republic of Belarus.
