Конфессиональные конверсии на территории Беларуси во второй половине XIX – начале XX в.: обзор историографии

Аннотация

Рассмотрены этапы становления историографии, посвященной проблемам конфессиональных преобразований во второй половине XIX в. на территории белорусских губерний. Выделены и проанализированы историографические направления, сформировавшиеся с конца XIX до начала XXI в. Отмечается, что дореволюционные исследователи прежде всего стремились доказать добровольность переходов в православие, но в этот период также создавались труды, в которых этот тезис ставился под сомнение. Утверждается, что в советское время вопрос переходов из католицизма в православие практически не затрагивался. Изучаются особенности отечественной и зарубежной историографии на современном этапе, когда появилось большое количество работ по религиозной проблематике, в том числе конфессиональным конверсиям. Часть исследователей в своих подходах и оценках продолжают традиции дореволюционной историографии, но большинство современных ученых стремятся дать объективную картину религиозных процессов на белорусских землях, показать их в контексте общей государственной политики. Актуальность статьи обусловлена освещением различных точек зрения на проблему конфессиональных переходов.
