Некоторые данные о гончарстве населения на территории Беларуси в 1-м тысячелетии нашей эры

Аннотация

Приведены некоторые результаты изучения гончарной технологии, использовавшейся населением отдельных памятников 1-го тыс. н. э. на территории Верхнего Поднепровья, Полесья и Верхнего Понеманья. Исследование керамических комплексов осуществлялось в рамках историко-культурного подхода. Составлено представление о навыках населения изучаемых территорий по отбору исходного пластичного сырья, подготовке формовочных масс и обжигу сосудов. В качестве массовой традиции зафиксировано использование природной ожелезненной глины с минимальным количеством песка как естественной примеси. В большинстве изученных керамических комплексов в качестве искусственных отощителей выделены дресва и выжимка из навоза. Выявлена специфическая органическая примесь отходов от обмолота зерновых культур. Отмечено, что традиция использования шамота и песка характерна для гончарства на территории Пощарья и Полесья. Обжиг сосудов в очаге или печи в условиях полувосстановительной газовой среды являлся массовой традицией термической обработки керамических сосудов. Сделан вывод о том, что общий уровень гончарной технологии был археогончарным. Зафиксирована тенденция перехода от домашнего изготовления посуды к ремесленному производству на заказ.
